The STARTAP FORUM (or SOCIAL BUSINESS SCHOOL FORUM) is a mandatory part of the MINIBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOL educational methodology, in which MINIBOSS & BIGBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOLS students present their projects (Idea Stage) in IDEA teams and well-known regional entrepreneurs listen to the ideas and award grants to those who find it necessary. 

OBJECTIVE OF THE FORUM: to support the initiatives of young entrepreneurs by awarding them startup grants from well-known entrepreneurs of the region (business mentoring).

MISSION OF THE FORUM: development of national and world economy and living standards of people through the development of entrepreneurship.

FORUM STARTAPOVS ORGANIZERS are the international non-governmental organization "European Business Development Association" (EBA) - an international platform for cooperation of entrepreneurs from all over the world to promote the idea and practice of entrepreneurship, in cooperation with the International Education Network MINIBOSS & BIGBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOL; Educational Consortium International Business Academy (IBA) and International Network MiniBoss & BigBoss Business Schools (United Kingdom). 

Members of the Jury of the Forum may be entrepreneurs - members of the Council of Businessmen, who are registered as associate, full or honorary members of the EARB (registration through the business recommendation and signing the Application at the regional representatives of EARB, site www.eabd.org).

An entrepreneur, a top manager on behalf of the company, a representative of a state-owned enterprise, as well as a representative of the field of science, culture and sports, who has an active social position, striving to bring positive changes to the development of his country and can become a member of the jury and a member of the GLOBAL BOARD OF BUSINESSMEN at the European Association for Business Development region.

The task of the Council of BUSINESS is to create an objective environment for the market of "investments in startups".

Grants are non-refundable investments in the project for project purpose. If the project goal is not achieved (students have not made the project for various reasons) after the set period (until the end of the second semester), the amount of this grant will be returned to entrepreneurs/ or goes to the Business School Foundation for the next Startup Forums (as agreed).  

Business Angels is a private venture capitalist that provides financial and expert support to companies at an early stage of development. Business Angels are the main source of external financing for new companies with potential for rapid growth. They help startups overcome a stage where the resources required for development exceed those of the founders, but are not large enough to interest the investment fund. Business angels invest in companies directly and operate with their own capital. An angel can invest not only in a ready-made project, but also in an idea that is impossible for an institutional investor.

Investments - placement of capital for the purpose of receiving profit by investors. Investments are an integral part of modern economy. Investments differ from loans by the degree of risk for the investor (lender) - credit and interest must be returned within the specified period regardless of the profitability of the project, investments (invested capital) are returned and bring income only in profitable projects. If the project is unprofitable - the investment can be lost completely or partially.

Investor - a person or organization (including a commercial company, government, etc.) that places capital for the purpose of further profit (makes investments). The capital placed by the investor may be its own or borrowed capital. If a project turns out to be unprofitable, the capital will be lost in whole or in part.

Team - one student or group of students of the International Education Network MINIBOSS & BIGBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOLS, who has applied for participation in the Startup Forum and is applying for a grant or investment.

A participant in the Startup Forum is the team that represents the project at the Startup Forum. Every student has the right to participate in one or more teams and represent one or more projects. Each participating team has the right to receive an investment or grant for the implementation of the declared project on the terms of targeted use provided by investors or business angels of financial resources. 

Targeted use of financial resources provided by investors or business angels is the ability to use the allocated funds exclusively for the implementation of the declared and provided project.

The use of grants and investments is monitored by team supervisors (teachers).

Authorized organizations - legal entities that administer branches of the International Education Network MINIBOSS & BIGBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOLS, namely - legal entities - Franchisee. 

ACCREDITATION FOR WORLD CHAMPIONATES An entrepreneur may be a member of the jury or a sponsor/partner to WORLD CHAMPIONATES on STARTUps, if he/she is a member of the jury: 

• has the status of a member of the Global Council of Businessmen MINIBOSS & BIGBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOLS and provides significant assistance in support of regional branches of business schools and their activities to foster a new generation of entrepreneurs in the country (conducting master classes, excursions, sponsorship, consultations for MINIBOSS, etc.) as part of its corporate social policy;

• participates in regional / national MINIBOSS & BIGBOSS STARTARTS FORUMs;

• participates in the National Startup Championships.

RESULTS of STARTAPOV FORUM are widely covered in mass media, which take a socially responsible position in society and contribute to the support of entrepreneurship in the country and the development of national economy.
